Veronica Barth, a senior Chaminade softball player, recently signed an NCAA Letter of Intent to play softball at the United States Military Academy at West Point. Barth said she selected the Military Academy because of its reputation for top education and because she wants to serve in the Army after graduation.

Barth has several high school tournaments still ahead as well as one with her club team in South Carolina just a week before she reports to West Point on June 26. She will undergo a six-week training session prior to the beginning of fall semester.
