"A Budget Issues Workshop for People of Faith" will take place May 15.

Co-sponsored in part by the Los Angeles Council of Churches and the Southern California Ecumenical Council, the 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. workshop will feature Jean Ross, executive director of the California Budget Project; State Senator Richard Alarcon, chair of the Joint Legislative Committee on Ending Poverty; and Elizabeth Sholes, public policy director of California Church IMPACT.
