Cathedral Mass for Catholic women: April 20
The Los Angeles Archdiocesan Council of Catholic Women will celebrate Mass at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels April 20 at 10:30 a.m. Msgr. James Gehl, ACCW moderator, will be the main celebrant. All Catholic women throughout the archdiocese are invited; their spouses and children are also welcomed. For information, call (213) 637-7394.

Thanksgiving Mass for Bishop Oscar Solis: April 24
The archdiocesan Office of Filipino Ministry is hosting a thanksgiving celebration in honor of Auxiliary Bishop Oscar Solis. Mass will take place on the grounds of St. Genevieve Church, 1406 Roscoe Blvd., Panorama City at 9:30 a.m. Day-long festivities, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., include food and exhibitor booths, entertainment and games. Celibacy symposium: April 24
The Hindu-Catholic Dialogue of the Office of Ecumenical and Interreligious Affairs and the Archdiocese of Los Angeles will host a symposium on celibacy April 24. "Sacred Celibacy" will include Catholic and Hindu speakers Sister of Social Service Anne Field, Capuchin Franciscan Michael Crosby, Adrian Piper and Hridayananda Das Gosvami. Vatican Exhibit in San Diego: May 15-Sept. 6
Nearly 400 Vatican objects will be exhibited at the San Diego Museum of Art, May 15-Sept. 6. "Saint Peter and the Vatican: The Legacy of the Popes" explores the 2,000-year history of the papacy with important historical objects, rare documents, and works of art which have never left the Vatican or been on public view.
