Evening of music and meditation planned at St. Joseph the Worker

San Fernando Region
text only version

Internationally acclaimed Catholic performer, composer and storyteller Bradley James will headline "An Evening of Music and Meditation" at St. Joseph the Worker Church in Canoga Park March 22, 7-9 p.m.

James, president and founder of Only Little Things Music, volunteered with Mother Teresa and her Missionaries of Charity for over 15 years. He reportedly was given permission personally by Mother Teresa to set her prayers to music.

In 2000, James began presenting his musical meditation evenings, following an ancient tradition of meditation set to music. At the March 22 concert, he will perform songs from his CD, "Gift of Love: Music to the words and prayers of Mother Teresa." A free will offering will be taken.

St. Joseph the Worker is located at 19855 Sherman Way. For more information, contact St. Joseph of Carondelet Sister Angela Faustina, (818) 341-6634, ext. 1010.
