More than 260 parishioners are expected to participate in
"The Mystical Humanity of Christ" Lenten retreat held March
6 at St. John Eudes Church in Chatsworth.
According
to retreat co-director Michael McDevitt, nephew of the late
Jesuit Father Frank Parrish, the event is an opportunity to
reflect on the presence of the living Christ dwelling within.
"The mystical humanity of Christ is the indwelling presence
of Jesus in our lives," explained McDevitt. "This is not a
passive form of spirituality, nor is it about the omnipresence
of God. It is living with a heightened awareness of His presence
and responding to life accordingly."
