Mission doctors make a difference

Our Lady of the Angels Region
text only version

Doctors who would like to learn more about short and long-term mission experiences are invited to an annual retreat/seminar March 19-21 hosted by Mission Doctors Association. Participants will hear about mission service experiences from doctors who have served.

"It's the best work in the world, and by far one of the best things that I've ever done," said Dr. Peter Meade, director of the Surgical Intensive Care Unit at King-Drew Medical Center in Los Angeles. Meade has been a member of Mission Doctors Association since 1986 and has offered his time and talent to the people of Ghana. "As for me, I am looking forward to the coming year and my next mission. I intend to be doing this for as long as God allows me the strength to do it!"

Mission Doctors recently visited a new site in Ecuador and are in need of qualified doctors to do mission work, said Elise Frederick, executive director.
