Bishop Solis' brother, Father Ronald A. Solis (in photo on left of Bishop Solis), flew in from Hong Kong for the historic event as did his former pastor, Msgr. Francis Amedee, pastor emeritus of St. Joseph Co-Cathedral in the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux, Louisiana (shown on Bishop Solis' right).
