CIMA honors founding members

San Fernando Region
text only version

Catholics in Media Associates (CIMA) honored approximately 50 volunteers with a dinner at St. Mel Church in Woodland Hills Jan. 14. Certificate of Appreciation Awards were given to the following: Marlene and Robert F. O'Neill, Frank X. Tobin, Ray and Cathy Bennett, Jack Knight and Ann Maffeo Furia.

"Without these hard-working, long-time members of CIMA, we couldn't have accomplished so much in the last 11 years," said Barbara Gangi, CIMA president.

According to CIMA co-founders, Patt and Jack Shea, the primary focus of the organization is "to recognize projects and people in our industry who have, by their work, made clearer the Word of God and affirmed the highest ethical standards of the Judeo-Christian tradition."
