World Marriage Day celebrations scheduled

text only version

Couples celebrating their 25 or 50 (or higher) year anniversary will be honored on Feb. 8 during the annual Anniversary Mass at Our Lady of the Angels Cathedral to honor World Marriage Day.

Presided over by Cardinal Roger Mahony, the 3:30 p.m. liturgy will be followed by a reception and the opportunity to have a photo taken with the cardinal. The $35 donation covers the cost of the photo, commemorative pin and ribbon, a special Cathedral souvenir and certificate signed by the cardinal.

The annual event is coordinated by the Office of Family Life. Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis. To register, call Annette Vichot at the Office of Family Life, (213) 637-7228.
